JOB SUMMARY / OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Accounting Manager, the Staff Accountant responsibilities will include but
not limited to assisting with analysis, reconciliation of general ledger accounts for all entities, recording
journal entries, and accounts receivable/accounts payable. Other responsibilities will include assisting
with audits and financial reviews, invoicing and posting payments.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist with account analysis and reconciliation on all balance sheets accounts for all entities.
• Reconcile financial ledgers and records; prepare financial statements and reports, general and
subsidiary ledgers and supporting schedules; assist with research and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare, record, and analytically support monthly recurring and adjusting journal entries
• Assist with preparation of audits and financial reviews.
• Process invoices for payment promptly in accordance with the terms established for each vendor
or defined on the purchase order as needed to support AP.
• Posts payments and ensure each batch is balanced.
• Monitor, review and verify accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness and
adequacy of supporting documentation.
• Bank balance reporting and Concur processing
• Follow all relevant company policies and procedures.
• Present a professional image at all times to clients and vendors and maintain a positive reputation
of the company.
• Follow all relevant company policies and procedures.
• Assists other Departments and other administrative personnel as necessary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS
• None required.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR TRAINING
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
• Minimum One (1) year experience working in Accounting, or related field required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook required.

• Ability to effectively communicate through various means required.
ENVIRONMENTAL
• The majority of work is performed within an office environment, including office equipment – such
as computers, telephones and copiers.
• Requires passing by industrial equipment on way to the office.
• Noise levels are typically moderate.
WORK SCHEDULE
• Regular 40-hour work week, normal duty hours as assigned.
• May work longer hours to meet deadlines as necessary.
TRAVEL
• Less than 10% of the time.
