JOB SUMMARY / OVERVIEW
The Senior Environmental Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and management of
the Natgasoline environmental compliance program. Experience is required in complying with federal
and state air, water, chemical inventory, and waste management regulations. The successful candidate
must lead by example, be self-motivated, exhibit sound decision making and have strong analytical
skills.
This role is a mentorship/leadership position that supports an overall team effort to develop and
implement a policy and plan which may include budgets; Health, Safety, Security & Environmental
matters; Organizational & Cultural development of the Environmental Department; as well as other
aspects of the company’s business.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform calculations for air emissions and inventory reporting.
• TPDES storm and wastewater sampling.
• Assist in STEERS reporting of events, deviations, Tier II, DMR.
• Knowledge of stack testing and CEMS monitoring.
• Prepare GHG calculation and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS
• Current Method 9 certification or ability to obtain.
• HAZWOPER.
• Placarding, labeling, and manifest training (US. DOT (PHMSA).
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR TRAINING
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or Engineering required.
• Minimum ten (10) years’ experience in process plant environment required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations impacting the
Chemical Manufacturing sector with emphasis on TCEQ regulatory permitting, compliance
assurance processes, as well as OSHA General Industry safety practices.

SOFTWARE
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, ACCESS, and Outlook required.
• Knowledge of any programing language desirable
PHYSICAL
• Ability to lift 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to sit for prolonged amounts of time required.
• Ability to effectively communicate through various means required.
ENVIRONMENTAL
• Majority of work is performed both in an office and a process environment
• Requires passing by industrial equipment on the way to office.
• Noise levels are typically moderate in the office
• Use PPE as required
WORK SCHEDULE
• Regular 40-hour work week, normal duty hours as assigned.
• May work longer hours to meet deadlines as necessary.
TRAVEL
• Less than 10% of the time.
