JOB SUMMARY / OVERVIEW

This position will be the Maximo subject matter expert (SME), superuser, system administrator, and all associated EAM system support. The role serves as the internal expert for all asset management software and ensures compliance, standardization, user support, and data integrity for all operations.  The position also encompasses training, report generation, continuous system improvement, configuration upgrades, mobile support, and master data accuracy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

•    Ensure Maximo performs in support of maintenance processes and is tracking compliance-related activity consistently at all operations

•    Migrate existing operations to standard Maximo best practice structure

•    Configure and Customize Maximo desktop and mobile User Interfaces (UI)

•    Manage and coordinate system integrations to include upgrades, patches, and fixes

•    Enhance the automated workflow functionality in Maximo

•    Drive Mobile support (handheld device) functionality as required

•    Lead the development and implementation of the Scheduling Application

•    Collaborate with IT in the development of Project SOWs, quick reference guides, and training related to Maximo.

•    Deliver training and user certification as needed

•    Responsible to stay current with IBM technology related to new releases, add-ons, etc., to enhance current functionality

•    Manage system integrations Active Directories

•    Manage IBM Licensing, ensuring compliance

•    Partner with IT to fix user security issues, proper access, and protection of data

•    Work with Internal/External Auditors to ensure user account access compliance

•    Work with associated department managers in developing global and site specific KPIs

•    Develop and create reports for departments utilizing SSRS, Maximo BIRT and other resources available

•    Partner with Accounting to ensure accurate cost tracking

•    Manage and oversee data entry/uploads into Maximo using standard structural conventions

•    Promote and manage the standards for data entry and integrity, to include naming conventions for locations, assets, spare parts, inventory items, classifications and other data as required

•    Ensure attachments functionality is optimized, including images, files, drawings

•    Review Maximo data and identify gaps and errors continually

•    Develop and implement standard Maximo master data architecture to include current and future operations

•    Review and analyze master data for locations, assets, spare parts (bill of materials), inventory items, classifications, labor, etc., making corrections when needed

•    Oversee the implementation of equipment warranty tracking, rotating assets, and asset capitalization functionality

•    Coordinate 3rd party Maximo Consultants, if required

•    Manage Master Data Administrator and Training, Standards & Development Coordinator each essential function is properly managed and working efficiently

•    Support KPI development within Departments

•    Extract data and support benchmarking as needed

•    Manage any other subordinates as required for this role

•    Follow all relevant company policies and procedures.

•    Always present a professional image to clients and vendors and maintain a positive reputation of the company.

•    Other tasks and duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS

•    IBM Maximo Asset Management Certification or equivalent, required

•    Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), desired

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR TRAINING

•    Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, required.

•    Five (5) years of experience working with Maximo or other CMMS.

•    Five (5) years of experience working in a continuous process industry.

ENVIRONMENTAL

•    The majority of work is performed within an office environment, including office equipment – such as computers, telephones, and copiers.

•    Requires passing by industrial equipment on the way to the office.

•    Noise levels are typically moderate but may be high when conducting field activities.

WORK SCHEDULE

•    Regular 40-hour work week, normal duty hours as assigned.

•    May work longer hours to meet deadlines as necessary.

TRAVEL

•    Less than 10% of the time.
